EQUIS Magazine is a collaborative riso-printed magazine expanding the perimeter of culture, introducing and overlaying the work of multidisciplinary, emerging and established voices. EQUIS (ex, X, E-kees), responds to the malleable nature of “X”, standing as a mathematical variable, altering gender and pronunciation, taking infinite shapes while traversing multiple fields. Along its three issues, EQUIS has featured work regarding the climate crisis, drug legalisation, social justice, territorial exploitation and gender rights, functioning as a platform for a diverse array of voices.

EQUIS is published annually, and although based in London and Mexico City, features the work of people from across the world. Made in collaboration with Calaca Press.
