Brian's Auto Knitter Cylinder is a perfect and affordable option for your Auto Knitter CSM. (Sharah's Auto Knitter is an American Auto Knitter, 1916-1927.) With special thanks to Candy U., we've been able to get measurements of a genuine Canadian Auto Knitter CSM cylinder and have recreated a working cylinder.

Brian designed a beautiful CSM cylinder for Sharah's antique, restored sock machine. She suspects this cylinder may run a bit quieter than her original metal one. Since the cylinder is printed without supports, it is ready to install without additional sanding.

The cylinder is equipped with a hole for the ribber arm guide pin, and is compatible with a ribber. 

NEW IN 2026: We've added metal nuts and screws for easy cylinder changes. You'll also get a 1/8in hex wrench to keep with your cylinder.
