Pia Fraus, one of the main bands of the Eastern European shoegaze/dream pop scene, will release their first new album "Evening Colours" since 2020! Pia Fraus is a band that has been supporting the shoegaze scene in Eastern Europe for more than 20 years, releasing albums on America's number one shoegaze label, Shel?ife Records, and coming to Japan in 2019. The band has gained the trust of shoegaze/dream pop listeners around the world. The band's seventh album, "Evening Colours," has been completed at last, and is based on the comfortable dreamy sound and thunderous shoegaze of Pia Fraus, but colorfully colored with new synths and chorus work.The album starts off with "French Exit," a soft, dreamy roar that makes you feel good, and then the smooth vocals that Pia Fraus is best known for melt into the dreamy soundscape of "Evening Colours," the third track on the album and the title track, and you are instantly pulled into a dreamlike state. The retro synth sounds keyed to the fourth track, "Sunny Afternoon," are a new feature of the album, and have the effect of warping the listener's imagination into a different space within the shoegaze-dream pop genre.
