Released in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stones' debut, the historic live performance on November 22, 1981 in Chicago, the blues capital of the world, featured the greatest rock and roll band of all time, The Rolling Stones, and the 20th century blues giant, Muddy Waters, on one stage. The Rolling Stones and Muddy Waters, two of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time, performed together on one stage. The previously unreleased footage from the November 30, 1981 show at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, is included on this Japanese release. Richards, and Ronnie Wood jump into Muddy's show at the Checkerboard Lounge. Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and Lefty Deez, all talented Chicago blues players, and Ian Stewart, an early member and touring pianist of the Stones, also joined the band. (C)RS
