The legendary Mille Mille. The 166 Spyder Corsa, driven by Tazio Nuvolari in his last race. Didn't win, but wrote itself into the history books after a truly heroic drive as the car disintegrated around him.

Pictured here during the race, with Nuvolari behind the wheel in typical driving pose, with Scapinelli alongside him, no doubt a tad nervous after losing the bonnet, front left fender and his own aero screen.
