A nice, easy fresh berry aroma - a bit like cranberry really. A bit of leather and some woody herb flavours. Very nice, fresh palate with a gentle prickle of alcohol at the end.
Established in 1906 and claiming to be the oldest co-operative in France, the Arbois Fruitière has played a significant role in the history and development of modern Jura wines. From its founding, the members fought hard to protect the name of Arbois which resulted in it becoming one of the first French appellations. With a combination of ancient and modern cellars, the wines have been an extremely reliable source of Jura for more than ten decades.
