Description:

Bramange, the 80's UK synth-pop band that greatly influenced Moby, Honey Dijon, John Grant, Roman Flugel, and other successor artists, returns to its old home, London Records, to release a new album! Formed in 1979 by singer/songwriter Neil Arthur and producer Stephen Luscombe, Bramange was a synth-pop band known for hits such as "Living on the Ceiling" and "Don't Tell Me. Luscombe has also done outside work, collaborating with India's nationally popular singer Asha Bhosle and providing songs for Apache Indian, a leading Bangla beat singer. The band released three albums on London Records in the 1980s, but broke up in 1986, and Neil went solo. After a quarter of a century of blanks, the band reunited in the early '10s and has been going strong ever since. Forty years after their first album for London Records, "Happy Families," Bramange has returned to their old home and released a new album.Private View" features Neil Arthur on vocals, electronica prodigy Ben Edwards aka Benji, who also shares a project with John Foxx, on keyboards, and David Rose, an early member of Bramange on guitar, who also plays in Peter Gabriel's and Kate Bush's bands. The band also features David Rose, an early member of Bramange who also plays in Peter Gabriel's and Kate Bush's bands. The first single, "Some Times These," is a parade of fine songs that blend Neil's songs and melancholic sense of melody with the band's trademark futuristic synth sound, as in the past. The culmination of his career!
