Hip Hop is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and it is said that August 11, 1973, when DJ Kool Herc, the founder of Hip Hop, held the first block party with his sister Cindy Campbell in the Bronx, New York, was the day Hip Hop music and culture was born. It is said to be the day that the music and culture of hip-hop was born.In the U.S., various events are planned to celebrate this anniversary year, including a special tribute performance at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony in February, and the "HIP HOP 50 LIVE" event at Yankee Stadium in New York City on August 11.
