Charles Simeon, Vicar of Holy Trinity Church who had died in 1836. A good deal of the opening text is dedicated to his biography, followed with various scriptural and poetic verses promoting Christian piety. List of London-area churches and meeting houses at rear. A particularly uncommon version of the popular "pocket" diary, with handsome engravings to boot.
