18th century Italian gilded cross with 18th century arms of Christ, aquamarine, and gold-plated crystal points and mounted on a gilded, hand-carved base.

The cross originally came from a historical church in Tuscany. The gold-plated crystal points adorn the crucifix to emulate the original gilded sunrays of the cross. 18th century Italian arms of Christ are also applied on either side to symbolize Christ on the cross. It is mounted on coordinating aquamarine and a gilded base. Together, the elements transform the ecclesiastical artifact into a figurative work of art.
