Manga artist Taiyo Matsumoto, who is the original character designer, is teaming up with director Yuasa for the second time after five years since "Ping Pong: The Animation". The screenplay is written by Akiko Nogi, who has produced a series of high-profile works including "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "The Voice of Sin," her first feature-length animation.
