An Italian owned car, campaigned throughout 1962 by Count Giovanni Volpi di Misurata’s SSS Venezia team, with only one notable success - 1st overall at the Trophy Auvergne, Charade. The cars final outing under the SSS Venezia banner was the 1963 Sebring 12hrs, finishing 5th overall - 2nd in GT3.0. The car was then sold to Swedish racing driver Ulf Norinder, who repainted the car in blue and yellow - the colours of the Swedish flag.

Norinder raced the car throughout 1963 and ’64 in various events, including the ’63 and ’64 Targa Florio, Daytona Continental in ’64 and 1000 Km Nürburgring in ’64.

The car illustrated is Norinder’s 1964 Targa entry, finishing 9th overall, 2nd in class - with co-driver  Pick Troberg.
