Martinair Flight Academy is a subsidiary of the airline of the same name from the Netherlands. Initially founded by Martin Schröder as Reclamair, the two Piper Super Cubs operated at the time were used for ad banner towing. With the move to the newly created Lelystad Airport in 1974, Reclamair was renamed Martinair Flight Academy, now also offing pilot training courses with an expanded fleet. Among other aircraft, three Cessna 172s served the flight school for many years.
