Description:
Finnish post-punk band GRAVE PLEASURES makes their comeback after 6 years with the sophisticated post-punk album "Plagueboys"! GRAVE PLEASURES, a well-known post-punk band in Finland, makes their comeback with "Plagueboys", a sophisticated post-punk album. The band changed their name from their predecessor band BEASTMILK, which released the 2010s post-punk classic "Climax", and started playing again in the capital city of Helsinki in 2015. After releasing quality albums "Dreamcrash" (2015) and "Motherblood" (2017), the band is now releasing its long-awaited third album after a six-year blank. Completed after touring with MINISTRY and KILLING JOKE, which would have influenced the band, this album is littered with boldly ringing drums and bass, a sense of balance that drifts between gothic and synthpop, and bittersweet yet danceable songs. The band's themes of state control, powerful technology, and nuclear weapons intersect in this album, which is set in a dystopian environment. And against the backdrop of the new Cold War era that is bringing us unrest, GRAVE PLEASURES hits us with a post-punk sound that is heavier and more vital than ever before. The artwork is by Finnish artist Tekla Valy, as on the previous album. <GRAVE PLEASURES>Mat McNerney - VocalsJuho Vanhanen - GuitarsAleksi Kiiskila - GuitarsValtteri Arino - BassRainer Tuomikanto - Drums
