The Riots, the Moscow-based neo-mod band that was featured at the beginning of the Acid Jazz label's "Hipsters 3" compilation, have completed their long-awaited full-length album! The Riots are the reincarnation of The White Trainers Community, the legendary neo-mods band that left behind the classic album "The Long Play" and the single "Modern Boys," both of which were wildly popular among mod fans. (vocals, guitar), Alex Shanin (vocals, drums), and Kirill Usachev (vocals, bass).The neo-mod sound of The Jam, Secret Affair, Small World, etc., and the singalong indie rock M-2 "Me" reminiscent of early to mid-period UK rock bands like The Clash, The Libertines, The Holloways, etc., the tight mod-punk M-5 "The Only Life I Know" reminiscent of The Jam, Joe Strummer-esque calypso, and two songs that are reminiscent of The Specials~Madness.
