As with the previous four releases, 100 titles from Sony Music's extensive jazz catalog, centered on the two major U.S. labels Columbia and RCA, are included, including first CD releases of long-awaited works and rare works that are currently difficult to obtain (Vol. 5: 50 titles released on October 14; Vol. 6: 50 titles released on November 6).
