Sage Malone was formed in Oslo, Norway in 1978 with Petter Norby on composition/vocals/flute/guitar, and disappeared after two albums and an EP/single in the 80's. In 1985, the band released their debut album on their own label. The band's debut album, released on their own label in 1985, has been newly remastered and digitally sleeved for the first time on CD by Norske Albumklassikere in Norway in 2010. The fantastic and mellow lyrical beauty reminiscent of the British rock of the past, especially CAMEL, is combined with a cool, Scandinavian-like arrangement expressed mainly by the flute.
