Tasting Note

Elegance and lightness but take another sip and you notice the depth and complexity. The nose is captivating. It is pretty and perfumed with the tantalising bitter-sweet aromas of Ripasso in the background. Packed full of cherry and a beautiful sweet and sour balance. On the palate, a melange of summer fruits - raspberrys and strawberrys with a peppering of balsamic and a hint of green pepper. Fantastic as a tipple, but will come into its own with food!

Producer

Formerly an assistant to the legendary Valpolicella producer Giuseppe Quintarelli, Nicola Ferrari and his wife Laura now make their wines from 4ha of organically farmed vines in Fumane. Production is between 25000 – 30000 bottles per year, so this is a very discreet operation, and the wines are nothing short of sensational.
