The River ring, bespoke made for you on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass

This ring holds the flow of a river carved around the band, capturing the way water meanders through the land with no set path, yet always finds its way to the sea. It’s a small reminder that our journeys in life and love don’t have to be straight or certain -the bends, turns and pauses along the way are what make the story. Each river has its own course, just as each person does, and the carving can even be shaped to reflect a river that’s part of your own story.

The 'River' ring is created by melting, shaping and carving wax, then using a method called 'lost wax casting'. I use this process to recreate those final moments of a wave on the beach and capture that moment for the ocean lover and barefoot wanderer.
