The Nellcor OxiMax sensor is compatible with various pulse oximeters and the tear-resistant bandage ensures a long application time. The sensor has an electronic shielding system to prevent light interference, which can lead to false readings. When the sensor is used with an OxiMax pulse oximeter, specific functions can be activated with the memory chip integrated in the sensor to optimise sensor placement.
