Spurgeon, according to his own accounting, sometimes preached more than 10 times per week. In a private, unpublished letter, he opined to a confidant that his friends' constant requests that he preach for them would be the death of him.
We can feel that Spurgeon in this letter. . . busy, a bit flustered, and no room at the margins.
A very good custom printed post-card example used by Spurgeon only for a brief time, and quite scarce in and of itself.

Dear Sir,
I have no power to take more preaching engagements. I am pressed beyond measure. Please look elsewhere for a preacher for yr opening service, for I do not know of any one whom I cd send. I have so very much to do that you must excuse my seeing to this.
Yours very truly,
C. H. Spurgeon"
