A precious jacquard velvet. The design - a series of criss-crossing lines - recalls a motif that comes from typical Japanese fabrics. Scratch is interesting for the large scale that differentiates it from similar items with smaller motifs. The pile, of two different heights and made with two different types of viscose (one more opaque and one more shiny), creates a marked three-dimensionality that develops on two levels: the cut and homogeneous pile (of opaque viscose) and the “eyelashes” of the high pile (of shiny viscose). It is suitable for upholstery.
