This gorgeous necklace is absolutely distinctive in each and every way! The necklace is hand strung out of genuine sterling silver with 2 and 5-mm silver round beads along with 5-mm Coral round beads. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and bead for a magnificent finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color. The small amount of 7.5% copper added to all silver has almost no effect on the metals overall value. Due to the durability of sterling silver it is not only used for jewelry, but household accessories as well. Silver is known to last a lifetime with the proper care.
