Awesome unmarked nickel silver ring issued in 1948. This could be bought at W.G. Simpson Co., Phoenix, Az. A company called Uncas made the ring. Their trademark appears on the inner band The band has a tiny mark at the bottom where the silvering is a little different color as this was where the ring was cut by jeweler to be sized. I believe, based on my ring size, that this is a size 8 1/2 or 9. This is one of the most incredible examples of this ring I have seen or found.

Detailing is incredible. Overall the piece displays beautifully with his name “Roy Rogers” clearly engraved in the saddle seat. Very rare.

Roy Rogers was born in 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the 1930s, he made a living as a singer; in 1935, his group started work at a Los Angeles radio station. He appeared in his first movie in 1937. From 1952 to 1957, he made 101 television shows. The Marriot corporation registered the Rogers name and created a chain of now-famous Roy Rogers restaurants. The other stars in the show were his wife, Dale Evans, his horse, Trigger, and his dog, Bullet. Roy Rogers memorabilia is collected, including items from the Roy Rogers restaurants.
