MAIN INDICATIONS

MD-NECK is a medical device designed to improve the movement of the cervical spine segment and to reduce the associated pain, counteracting physiological or pathological deterioration of the joints and tissues involved in cases of:
• Cervicalgia:
− of muscular and/or nerve origin
− due to aging
− due to bad posture
− due to concomitant chronic diseases
− due to traumas and injuries.

Treatment can be combined with other therapies.

THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
Periarticular administration: 1-2 infiltrations per week for 3-5 weeks.
Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week without risk.
Intramuscular administration (trigger points): 1-2 infiltrations per week for 3-5 weeks. Results are evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue treatment up to the tenth week without risk.

COMPOSITION
Collagen of porcine origin, Silica, NaCl, Water for injection.

PACKAGE
Box of 10 vials (single vial 2 ml – extraction volume).

INJECTION ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION
Periarticular, intramuscular (trigger points).

SUGGESTED NEEDLE
Periarticular: 26G x 13 mm needle; intramuscular in the trigger points: 26G x 13 mm needle.
Note: Disinfect the skin thoroughly with iodopovidone or chlorhexidine.

INJECTION TECHNIQUES OF ADMINISTRATION
• Periarticular administration: insert the needle near the joint to a depth of 4-13 mm.
• Intramuscular administration: insert the needle into the trigger points at a depth of 4-6 mm.
