Hauraki Inflatable Fenders are designed for convenience, durability, and top-tier performance.  Simply inflate them when needed and deflate for compact, easy storage—ideal for saving space on board.  Each fender is crafted from heavy-duty, 1.2mm thick (1460 gsm) non-marking PVC fabric, making them tougher than most standard inflatable fenders, which typically use only 0.9mm material.

Built to last, these fenders are constructed without glue.  Instead, their seams are heat and high-frequency welded in a controlled environment, then reinforced with doubler tapes to ensure strong, reliable joins that won’t degrade over time.

Each fender features two stainless steel D-rings—one at each end—providing versatile mounting options so they can be hung vertically or horizontally. A standard marine-grade inflation/deflation valve makes inflating the fender easy.  You can use a typical inflatable boat pump or small electric pump.  The fenders can be easily deflated and rolled up to a compact size for easy storage. 

Every fender undergoes a 7 day pressure test in the factory prior to being packaged and ready for sale. 

Every fender comes complete with a fender rope and a valve adaptor, so you're ready to go straight out of the box.

As a guide, we recommend every boat should always carry at least 3 fenders onboard (larger boats should carry 4-5).  The size of fender mostly depends on the length and design of your boat, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference and how the fenders are going to be used. 

When selecting the size and quantity of fenders for your boat and the following points should be taken into consideration:

• The length of your boat.
• How much freeboard your boat has, the height of its top sides, and where the fenders will be used on the boat.
• What are you rafting up to (wharfs or other boats) and where you are rafting (calm waters or waters prone to waves or boat wakes). 
• The displacement of your boat.  Lighter weight boats can be at the lower end of the size spectrum while heavier boats should be at the upper end.
