All sections are original, full length and straight. Richly flamed cane with bright red transparent wraps. Beautiful varnish, a hallmark of T&T rods though there is a bit of light wear in places. The tips are marked with one and two black dots at the ferrules and tip-tops. Well endowed swelled butt that T&T is known for. Western style grip 6 3/8" in length with light soiling. Fine nickel silver up-locking reel seat with a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. The butt cap features a socket in which the removable handle extension fits. Oxidized step-down swiss style ferrules size 15/64 with a nice and tight fit. Medium-fast action. Rod weighs 7 oz. without the fighting butt and 9 1/4 oz with. Includes original T&T bag with dowel stiffener and tag. The tube is a beautiful darkly tanned leather tube with a wooden cap and brass accents.
