Being offered for sale is the antique "CUTTERS THAT CUT" PROMOTIONAL ADVERTISING SAMPLE (solid brass, incised cutter (marked at cutter shaft, see 4th pic) mounted to embossed, beveled edged brass plate/plaque) by JOHN ROYLE & SONS (machinists) of Paterson, New Jersey, circa the mid -to- late 19th century (est. in 1855 and later moved to Oakland, N.J., so this an early piece but we do not know exactly how early in the company history these cutter promo samples were produced), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title.
