Beautiful emerald green sanded blank with matching wraps, burgundy tipping at the signature wrap. Bright guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. Spigot ferrules for a smooth transition of energy and a more streamlined profile. The sections fit together perfectly with a 1/4" gap to account for wear over time. Fine, knurled, bright nickel silver winding check. Reverse half wells grip. The grip is only lightly soiled and free of any defect. Bright nickel silver down-locking reel seat with a beautifully figured zebrawood spacer. Etched in the bottom of the butt cap is, "R.L. Winston Rod Co.". The rod weighs in a 2.45 oz. on our digital scale. The action is a tad slower and with more feel than most modern graphite rods.
