Sikafloor®-219 UTE is a universal, multifunctional, two-component epoxy floor coating designed for durable, decorative coatings. It can be applied water-clear or pigmented using pre-packaged colour paks or metallic pigments. It is typically used as a primer, broadcast surfacing, trowel mortar binder, or high-build coating on concrete or steel surfaces.

• Component B: Hardener (3.78 L)
• Optional Additive: Sikafloor® UTE Colour Pak (500 ml per 3.78 L of resin for pigmentation)

• Mix Ratio: 2:1 by volume (A:B); with Colour Pak, add 500 ml per gallon of Part A.
• Primer Coat Coverage: 203 ft²/US gal @ 8 mils
• Wear Coat Coverage: 106 ft²/US gal @ 15 mils
• Total Thickness: 23 mils for smooth coating
• Pot Life: ~26 minutes at 23°C (73°F)
• Curing Time (23°C):
• Foot traffic: ~24 hours
• Light traffic: ~2 days
• Normal traffic: ~5 days
• Full Cure: Mechanical and chemical properties achieved after full cure.
• Overcoating Times (23°C): 24–48 hours; if exceeded, surface must be abraded to a dull finish before recoating.

• Environmental Limits:
• Application temperature: 10–30°C (50–85°F)
• Substrate moisture must be ≤ 4% by mass (Tramex meter).
• Relative humidity max: 85%
• Substrate must be 3°C above Dew Point.
• Priming & Moisture Mitigation:
• Use Sikafloor®-1610 or Sikafloor®-81 EpoCem®CA if substrate moisture >4% or RH >85%.
• UV Stability:
• Will discolor over time with UV exposure. Not UV stable.
• Limitations:
• Not recommended for exterior slabs with freeze/thaw exposure.
• Not suitable for negative side waterproofing.
• Avoid use on substrates with potential ASR (alkali-silica reaction).
• Mixing Instructions:
• Mechanically mix only. Avoid air entrapment.
• Scrape container sides and bottom during mixing.
• Do not exceed recommended pigment dosage to maintain curing and resistance properties.

Sikafloor®-219 UTE is best used as part of a floor coating system with proper priming (Sikafloor®-1610 or Sikafloor®-81 EpoCem®CA as needed), optional color pigmentation, and wear coats. It offers robust performance in demanding interior applications where hygiene, durability, and aesthetics are critical.
