For sale here is a Payne Model 100 bamboo rod - 7'6" 2/2 for a four weight line. The rod has a listed weight of 3 1/4 oz. Serial no. 30785. The rod is in excellent refinished condition. All sections are full length and straight. The cap and ring reel seat bears the “Payne” trademark stamp as well as "Sold By Abercrombie & Fitch Co. New York". Red agate stripping guide. The cigar grip has been cleaned and is slightly ridged. The ferrules are size 11/64 with an excellent fit. The actual weight of the rod is 3.15 oz. The Model 100 is one of Payne’s most popular tapers, with a more medium action as compared to the slightly heavier Model 101 which was a faster action rod.
