This beautiful collection of antique and vintage charms were discovered threaded together with a piece of cotton. They obviously meant a lot to their owner and after your help it was decided to keep them all together rather than separate them.

They are an interesting mix of lucky, religious and souvenir charms from the UK, France, Austria and Egypt and are a mix of materials including silver and base metals. It is impossible to date them all or ascertain their origin. One lovely follower suggested that they may have been owned by a British/French spy stationed in Egypt who had also spent time in Austria - so romantic!

One thing for sure is that they are a very special and unique collection with a true story to tell. I have put them on a heavily gold plated chain and where possible have kept the original jump rings. The charms can be worn together or easily slipped off and worn individually or in groups. The chain is adjustable and can be worn at 40cm, 42cm or 45cm.

This unique piece of jewellery may have signs of wear due to its history. It is beautifully imperfect and should be treated with love and care. This gorgeous charms are in great condition.
