Namaqualand, in South Africa's Northern Cape, is a special place where the desert blooms with wildflowers each spring and attracts visitors from all over the country and the world. It forms part of the succulent Karoo biome and contains more than 3500 different plant species and is also home to rocks and other landforms that are hundreds of millions of years old!
