Overview

Pismis 24 is one of the most dramatic star‑forming regions in our galaxy — a cathedral of dust and light sculpted by massive young stars. This handcrafted resin fountain pen captures the nebula’s layered architecture: deep cobalt starfields, warm gold dust pillars, and drifting white veils that shimmer like breath on glass.

Each pen is individually poured, shaped, and finished in‑house, ensuring every piece is a one‑of‑one cosmic artifact.

Scientific Inspiration

Located within the larger NGC 6357 complex, Pismis 24 is a cluster of exceptionally bright, hot stars whose radiation carves towering pillars of dust and gas. Infrared imaging reveals:

• Warm gold and amber dust rising in spire‑like formations
• Soft white veils of ionized gas drifting across the mid‑region
• Deep blue starfields filled with newborn suns
• Structures stretching more than three light‑years tall

This pen’s resin composition mirrors the nebula’s natural layering, translating cosmic formation into a handheld sculpture.

Each pen is cast as a single continuous piece to preserve the integrity of the nebular structure.
