Lightweight. Short, fast Newtonians will also match up nicely with the Explore Scientific Twilight Nano mount. As long as your telescope does not exceed 14 pounds and has a 45mm wide (Vixen-Style) Dovetail plate for mounting the telescope to the mount head, you are good to go.
The metal tripod with 1.25" diameter legs, continuously extend from 25.5" to 45" to allow for convenient telescope height from child to adult. The alt-azimuth head's handle gives you full control for very smooth movements and for locking the altitude position.
