This fantastic 1970s hand knitted wool sweater with bold multi-coloured design was retailed by famous American luxury department store I.Magnin, a company renowned for selling only the highest quality goods of its time, most often derived from high end European fabrics and components. This extraordinary piece of knitwear is labelled hand knitted and manufactured in Italy and has a flamboyant abstract design in moss green, black, white, lilac and pillar box red. It is long sleeved and edged in black on the cuffs, hem and V neckline, with a central zip fastening at the reverse. In excellent vintage condition having retained all of its vitality and colour. Labelled a size medium, would suit a range of sizes from US size 6-10, UK size 10-14.
