Dieser großartige Wein besteht aus der Rebsorte Petit Verdot. Dieser Wein ist von dunkelroter, fast schon schwarzer, Farbe. Der Petit Verdot zeichnet sich durch Aromen schwarzer Früchte, Gewürze, Schokolade und sanfter Eiche aus. Am Gaumen schmeckt der Wein sanft, körperreich und ausbalanciert, was in einem langen, angenehmen Abgang endet.

The 2013 Yarden Petit Verdot, the second ever release of this wine, is produced from grapes harvested from vineyards in the central and northern Golan. Although this variety has lost some of its popularity in its traditional home of Bordeaux, due to its difficulty in reaching full ripeness there, Petit Verdot has ound the Golan Heights to be quite welcoming. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new.
