The Smoky Twelve is the perfect marriage of fruit,malt, oak and rich layers of smoke. Crafted from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit and three cask matured for at least twelve years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and Marsala wine casks. The whisky from each cask is then expertly married together to create a smooth, creamy single malt.

Though smoke is one of the key players here, it is decidedly different from the more well known Islay peat. This is rich, sweet, highland peat, rather than the briny character you get on the coast. The earthy smoke quickly makes room for vanilla, nuts, strawberries and cream, and pure malty goodness. The character of the barley is never far, and the sherry and marsala casks never try to push their way to the front. Harmony is the name of the game. Bottled at 46% abv.
