Jim X Dodge is a Florida native who has been writing seriously for over thirty years. During that time he has written poetry/song lyrics, flash fiction, short stories, novellas and even a couple of novels. He also had a years- long stint as an entertainment journalist where he wrote dozens of reviews, interviews, and features, mostly for UK- based zine Mass Movement (http://massmovement.co.uk). He even ran Zero Signal fanzine with friends for about a year, a labor-intensive undertaking that ended with a mix of relief and disappointment.

Though there have been lulls in his career, he inevitably returned to writing as his main creative source (though there was that one time where he spent hundreds of hours, and dollars, turning old baseball bats into post- apocalyptic weapons). While you can’t please everybody, more people like his work than dislike it, so there’s that.
