A curious, totemic feeling sort of a cast metal nude, which I love in part for how muscular she seems--like the body builder of Eves!--and also for the crustiness of the surface now, with patches of greening amid a spectrum of brassy and bronzy golds, and with the corrosion making her seem rather like an ancient fertility figure, recently unearthed! The reverse reveals her as a more recent sculptural creation, signed Davin and with what looks to me like an 80, or maybe a 90, encircled. She doesn't stand on her own, but rather seems meant to lie flat, and with a hole between her legs (I presume from where the metal was poured into the mold), into which one could insert, say, the tip of a sharp pencil or a toothpick flag!

 6 5/16 t x 1 7/8” w x 7/8” d and very heavy for her size. Surface shows significant aging/corrosion as evident, which I think is part of what makes her interesting.
