A rare 19th-century C. Bechstein grand with beautiful mahogany casework and a rich, mature tone - an elegant historic instrument for collectors, conservatories, or period-informed performers. According to published Bechstein serial-number references, Serial No. 2960 places this instrument in 1867 production this is an early Bechstein built during the company's formative years when their grands were already earning international acclaim.

Built in Bechstein's early production era, this piano features a dense, singing tone and robust construction that made Bechstein grands sought after by concert artists in the late 19th century.
