Betty Hanson was a prominent figure on 7th Avenue in New York, getting her start as a Model for Mollie Parnis and working with Anne Klein before starting her own company. There is also a label for Carolyn's Couture Lake Buena Vista Village, at Walt Disney World. The high end boutique would host famous fashion designers.

The dress is a dark expresso brown wool. There is a very high 26" slit up the front center of the dress. The spaghetti straps across the sexy low cut back. There is a zip closure on the back of the dress. Fully lined.
