On the cover are Nepalis, who migrated to Sikkim much later but now comprise a majority of the population. The traditional men's attire called Daura Suruwal, consists of a long double breasted garment that falls below the waist, with a pair of trousers. A sharp edged heavy weapon, Khukri, is carried in a wooden or leather cover called Daab. This is a very prominent part of Nepali culture. The women wear a double breasted garment with strings that are tied on either side. It is called Chau Bandi Cholo and is shorter than the Daura. They also wear a shawl, called Majetro, which completes this attire.
