This signature blend of TENCEL™  is a wonderful combination of refinement and practicality. TENCEL™  lends weight to create long lines and an elegant drape, along with a soft feel and suede-like finish. For the environmentally-conscious,TENCEL™  comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber.

Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. We also love how vibrantly the colors appear on this fabric, enriching our garments with vivid hues.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, do not use Woolite, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low (do not use dryer sheets). Warm, steam iron. Dry Clean OK.

THE STORY

Combining sensible styling with bold fabric print artistry, we have also crafted our woven French Batik Dynasty Blouse using a natural fibered, eco-friendly Tencel & Rayon blend fabric chosen for long wearing comfort, durability and minimal care. Featuring a chic Mandarin collar, one of the hallmarks of Oriental apparel design, we have also added a few subtle feminine touches that render this top an elegant look to match the graceful drape of our signature Tencel fabric. Attention is drawn to a dramatic "batik" motif print to help express your own personal sense of style.

Our hip length Dynasty Blouse features a twin-stitched Mandarin style collar that sweeps into a V-neck. The button down front sports reinforced seams. Long waistline darts flowing to the slightly rounded bottom hem flatters the torso, giving this fitted body style a classic, almost timeless look. Hemline side slits afford subtle flare to the hips as well as extra wearing comfort. Three-quarter length sleeves flow into band cuffs with ½" side slits. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile wardrobe staple, which pairs easily with skirts, pants, leggings and designer jeans. This top is wonderful for traveling, and would make a smart addition to your office and weekend wardrobes.

Our sublime "Queen" Printed fabric print draws inspiration from the ancient art form of resist dyeing, commonly known as “batik”. Dating back to 4th Century BC Egypt, this technique was also practiced in Asia, Africa and Australia, but has since been highly developed in Indonesia. Batik is prized for its intricate patterns and almost endless color palette. Our “Queen” rendition here features a blockprint styled, floral landscape rendered in naïve artistry. This synergy of superb print artistry and functional apparel design wonderfully enhances the luxurious drape of our premium Tencel & Rayon blend fabric.
