Let’s be honest the dating pool is a little murky folks. Many of us black women are willingly remaining in marriages where we are unhappy, allowing ourselves to “put up with” what we wouldn’t normally, all to save our marriages. Who wants to start over? Who wants to start the process of getting to know another person again? But staying in a marriage that doesn’t serve you is a true indicator that you have lost yourself. The concern shouldn’t be the process of starting over in a relationship with someone else, instead the focus should be on getting to know yourself again!
