Description : The U.S. Army Enlisted Male ASU (Army Service Uniform) Blue Coat is a tailored formal service coat designed to present a sharp, professional appearance. Constructed from a durable dark blue polyester-wool blend, the coat features a single-breasted design with four gold buttons on the front, notched lapels, and a fully lined interior for comfort and structure. It is cut to provide a clean, fitted silhouette, with shoulder loops for rank insignia, and sleeve braids denoting enlisted status. The coat is worn as part of the Army Service Uniform for ceremonies, formal functions, and other official duties, symbolizing tradition, discipline, and professionalism within the U.S. Army. The Army blue coat is manufactured in Officer and Enlisted versions. The Enlisted version includes shoulder loops that are 2.5 inches wide at the outside shoulder edge and 1.5 inches wide at the inside collar edges. Gold-colored nylon or rayon cord edge braid with a width of 1/8th of an inch is piped around the entire loop. Coats for Enlisted personnel are also differentiated from Officers’ coats with a 1/8-inch soutache braid of gold-colored rayon or nylon on each sleeve. Coats are in Very Good condition and are previously worn unless marked Brand New With Tags (NWT) or Brand New With Out Tags (NWOT). May or may not have insignia sewn on the sleeves.
