Do I need hood pins if I'm replacing the hinge?

Hood pins are a separate choice — they're not required by the hinge replacement itself. If your hood currently has sagging issues or you want added security, pins are a good add-on; otherwise, the hinge alone will function normally.

Will this hinge work with my factory hood latch?

Yes. The hinge mounting geometry is designed to work with the OEM latch. After installation, check that the hood sits evenly and the latch engages smoothly — slight adjustment at the latch may be needed if the hood has shifted over time.
