Will this plug directly into my truck's wiring harness?

This is an OEM assembly designed to use factory mounting points and electrical connectors. Verify your truck has power mirror capability before ordering—manual mirror trucks will require additional wiring work.

Does the chrome need any prep or protection before installation?

The mirror ships with factory finish applied. Inspect the chrome for any shipping damage before install, but no additional prep is required—mount and connect.

What if the fold motor doesn't operate after I install it?

Check that the electrical connector is fully seated and your truck's power mirror circuit is functioning. If the mirror still won't fold, the assembly may have shipped with a defect—contact support with photos for a replacement evaluation.
