EMBA aka The Mutation Mink Breeders Association was formed in 1942 and dissolved in 1986. The group was made up of dedicated ranched mink fur farmers, that specialized in very specific, high quality mink, with regulations that included fanatical animal welfare, health & care, producing clear bright colors, to which they gave distinctive trade names. In 1986 they joined with GLMA, aka the makers of BLACKGLAMA, to Form American Legend Furs.
