These beads originate from the Indus Valley Civilization. The intricate patterns are created using a liquid derived from plants, known as natron, which is then fired at low temperatures of around 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. While these beads are also found in the ruins of Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, it is believed they were originally crafted in the Indus Valley and transported via land and sea routes.
